What kind of Installation service support will be provided by Tataplay trained Technicians?

Tata Play trained technicians will do the installation of cameras after checking the feasibility of installing the camera(s) in the desired location. They will not be able to provide any electrical wiring support that may be needed as a part of pre-requisites for installation process

Go to the Live Stream of your Camera, tap ‘Time Lapse’ at the bottom of the screen. Set start and end time to create video. You can create short videos by compressing time-consuming videos. Please note that Time Lapse videos can be created only when there is microSD card installed in the Camera.

How can I do continuous recording of footage with my Tata Play Secure Camera?

You can use a microSD card in the Camera’s microSD slot to continuously record footage or to only record event clips. Your Camera has expandable storage of up to 32 GB. Using a microSD card will also allow you to create Time Lapse videos. You can view storage settings in Camera settings &gt; Video and Storage Management.

How does Detection Settings on the app work?

Detection Settings lets you control how, when and where motion/sound alerts are triggered. By going to ‘Detection Settings’ under ‘Camera Settings’, you can increase or decrease motion/sound detection sensitivity level for a personalised experience. You can also choose a specific Detection Zone and get alerted only when your Camera detects motion within that area. Use the feature to avoid receiving multiple alerts which can get triggered in frequently accessed areas. With the Motion Tagging feature, a green frame will be shown where the Camera detects movement.

Go to Home Screen. Tap 'More' displayed on message bar. Scroll through the list of Event Videos taken by your Camera and click the still image from that video to watch it. At the bottom of the screen, you will see Delete and Share icons.

You can view Event Videos in any of the following 3 ways: Click the push notification sent to your smartphone. It will open the app and take you to the Event Video. Go to Home Screen. Tap 'More' displayed on message bar. Scroll through the list of Event Videos taken by your Camera and click the still image from that video to watch it. Go to Live Stream of Camera. Tap 'History' button at the bottom of the screen. Tap 'Events' to view recorded video clips. Scroll through the list of Event Videos taken by your Camera and click the still image from that video to watch it.

How does Motion and Sound detection works?

When your Camera senses motion or sound, it will record a small 12-second video clip that is stored on cloud via end-to-end encryption. Event Video clips will be available for viewing up to 7 days. After 7 days, video clips are deleted and cannot be recovered. Event Videos have a 5-minute cooldown period for the 12-second videos. If there is constant motion detected, the Camera will record a 12-second Event Video every 5 minutes and store it to the cloud.

How does Push Notifications work in app?

Your Camera will send you alerts about events triggered to let you know something in your home needs your attention. The alerts will come as an automated message that pop up on your smartphone.

How to talk to people with your Tata Play Secure Camera?

Use the 2-Way Communication feature to talk to people at home. Open the Tata Play Secure app and select the Camera you want to use. Tap and hold the microphone icon when you wish to speak through the app. When you're done talking, release it to enable the Camera's audio. Audio through the app gets disabled while holding the Speak button and gets re-enabled when the button is released.

How to use the Night Vision feature?

To turn on Night Vision, go to the app and select the Live Stream of the Camera you want. Click on the Night Vision icon at the top right to get a decent low light vision. The Camera has 4 LED infrared lights that are turned on when Night Vision is on, allowing you to see up to 9 metres (30ft) even in the dark. You can turn Night Vision to On, Off or Auto.

How to turn Cameras on or off with app?

You can turn the Camera on and off without having to go into its settings. Simply go to the Home Screen of the app and tap On/Off button on the right. The live stream and event recording (cloud uploads) will be disabled completely while the Camera is turned off this way. The On/Off button works only when the Camera is online.

You can view the live stream of your Camera on the Tata Play Secure App whenever you’re connected to the internet. On the app home screen, tap the Camera stream you want to view. After it loads, you will be able to view the Live Stream. Live Stream Features: Streaming quality: View Live Stream in HD (1080p), SD (720p) or 360p quality. Live stream screen:There’s a lot you can do using icons on the live stream screen, such as: Sound: Listen to the Camera’s microphone by tapping on the speaker icon. Speak: Talk to family and even visitors to your home by using the mic icon. Record: Record a video of the stream directly by tapping on the video recorder icon. Take photos: Capture photos from the live stream by tapping on the Camera icon. These photos are saved to the album in the app. Photos and recorded videos can be saved to your device’s photo gallery and can be viewed, sent, or shared from there or through the Album in the app.
